Caring for your Freshn'r

Your handmade Freshn’r will last about 30 days, depending on the environment. Some will last longer and some may not. An interesting thing to note is one will be come “nose blind” to the scent and you will be raising your eyebrows when someone gets into your car and tells you how nice it smells, especially when you thought your Freshn’r was just hanging there for decoration.

Care Instructions:

  • You can use your Freshn’r in any small space like a closet or an automobile.
  • The scent can last 3-5 weeks sometimes longer depending on the scent and environment.
  • Do not lay your freshn’r on a hard surface as it contains scented oil and may stain.
  • This is not a toy, keep out of reach of childrent and pets.
  • This is not food – do not consume!
  • Do not place in a wax warmer or attempt to melt it.
  • May melt in extreme temperatures over 100 degrees F and in the direct sunlight.
  • Your nose may start to get used to the scent making it hard for you to realize your Freshn’r is still working.
  • If you can no longer smell the scent, sometimes it helps to place it into an airtight bag for a few days and then return it to the car.
  • If the sun is shining directly into your car, place your Freshn’r on the blinker or the wiper handle, out of the direct sunlight.
  • Do not place Freshn’r between the window and the windshade.

Diffuser style Freshn'r

Diffuser Fresn’rs are convenient and long lasting.

They require a bit of work on your part, but you have control!

To use:

  • Unscrew the wooden cap from the glass container.
  • Pull the plastic plug from the neck of the bottle.
  • Don’t lose the plastic plug 🙂
  • Rescrew the wooden cap back on to the bottle
  • Tip the bottle carefully allowing the fragrance to soak into the wooden cap. Note- there are small holes where the string is attached. Sometimes it is useful to let the fragrance drip from these holes, just be careful to only wet the wooden cap.
  • After the wooden cap has the desired amount of fragrance oil infused, re-remove the wooden cap, replace the plastic plug, screw on the wooden cap back on and hang your Diffuser Freshn’r where ever you wish.
  • Note: if you lose the plastic plug it will be fine. It is unlikely the fragrance oil will splash when the bottle  moves, but the Freshn’r may not last as long.
  • To recharge, repeat above steps.
